Alf had identified, and has already made substantial investments in the new metal forming technology of Hydroforming. We venture to claim that ALF is currently at the forefront of this technology in India, in that

We already have a 3000 ton press in trial production
We are already manufacturing components for a     prominent automotive     manufacturer as OE
Our new facility (fourth) for production is in advanced     stage of     completion.
We have a design center to support the customer in     all     aspects of     development.

Since hydroforming is a relatively new production technique, an important requirement is to continuously develop our in-house technology competence, where required, complemented with contracted expertise through a strategic alliance. Towards this end, we have -
